Lutheran Youth Organization
The Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO) is open to youth in grades 6-12. The group meets the first and third Sundays of the month at 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Past activities include camping at Hammonassett State Park, the National Youth Gathering in San Antonio (2006), the Spring Fling at Camp Calumet, bowling, miniature gorl, lazer tag, Youth Sunday, car washes, bake sales, Card and Game Night, and numerous other events.
Annually, we participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring by collecting cans of soup. In July,
two high school students will attend the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
LYO members also participate in many aspects of church life such as ushering, singing in the choir, playing in the bell choir, leading the Sunday School in
playing Chimes, property clean-up, and acolyting.
We are always open to new members. For more information, please see Marj Bradford or Erik Moore.
